On February 25, 2021 Town Council approved the proposed 2045 Land Use Map amendments with the exception of the Chapel Ridge area within Area F. Town Council referred the Chapel Ridge area back to the Planning Committee of Town Council for further consideration.
These 2045 Land Use Map amendments were designed to:
- Establish land uses to support public transportation services
- Increase residential densities along existing and upcoming public transportation routes
- Promote Transit-Oriented Development
