GoApex Bus Stop Art Tour

This fall, 10 local and North Carolina-based artists were selected to paint 12 sidewalk mural installations at select GoApex bus stops for the first-ever GoApex Bus Stop Art Tour. This project aims to enhance rider and pedestrian experiences at bus stops, build awareness for the GoApex Route 1 service, and beautify bus stop locations around Apex.

  1. Hop on the GoApex Route 1 bus at any stop, and ride the full loop back to your original stop (total travel time 1 hour)
  2. Check out the Bus Stop Tour map and drive to visit stops throughout Apex to view the public art

Note: Bus operators are unable to pause at art stops to allow for riders to get off and view murals. If you'd like to get off the bus and view the art up close, please plan to get back on the bus at the next scheduled stop time.
