1.
Where should I park?
Parking is available in the lot on Saunders Street, at Town Hall and Apex Community Center (with a short walk), and all along the side streets near Salem. Please be mindful not to park on private property, or block driveways or fire hydrants.
2.
How do I participate in the parade?
All are welcome in the parade! Children (all ages) decorate their bikes, wagons, scooters, etc. for the parade and march down Salem Street. The parade line gets pretty long, so be safe and wear sunscreen and bring water to keep cool and hydrated. There is no registration needed.
3.
What is the splash down?
Everyone can cool off under the spray of the Apex Fire Department's fire hose. The splash down is located at the Chamber of Commerce parking lot beside Fire Station 1.
4.
Are dogs allowed?
For the safety of all festival attendees, dogs are not allowed per Apex ordinance. Service pets are an exception to this ordinance.
5.
What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event (no rain date). In case of light to moderate rainfall, the show will go on! If there is lightning within a few miles, we'll temporarily shut down attractions until the storm moves over, but keep our original 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. time frame.
6.
Does Apex have a fireworks show?
Apex does not have a fireworks show. To find local fireworks events, go to visitRaleigh online.
