ReadyWake
The Wake County ReadyWake program includes a reverse 911 system designed to call or text you in the event of an emergency. When necessary, an automated system will contact you with information regarding the nature of the emergency and what action (if any) you should take.
Notifications
There are 3 types of notifications that the Town of Apex may choose to utilize. Examples are not all-inclusive:
- Community Alert (e.g. rabies, loose animals, boil water)
- Emergency (e.g. evacuations, missing persons)
- Public Service Announcements (e.g. traffic issues, parades)
Weather Alert
The Wake County Reverse 911 system does not offer weather alert notices. However, you can subscribe to notices from such services as National Weather Service and WRAL.
