Plastics
- All plastics #1 thru #7 that have a neck on the container, as long as the mouth of the
container is smaller than the base.
- Any other plastic containers that have contained anti-freeze, motor oil, or
other hazardous waste is not accepted.
- Discard lids, rinse all containers and crush.

Paperboard, Chipboard, SBS Board and Paper Tubes
- Cereal, pasta, toothpaste, and beer boxes.
- Tubes from paper towels and toilet tissue.
- Waxed boxes such as some beer boxes and toothpaste boxes are not accepted.
- Crush and flatten all containers.

Corrugated Cardboard
- Unwaxed corrugated (flat on outsides and wavy in middle) cardboard.
- No packing material, no Styrofoam or plastics, no food on cardboard, no pizza boxes, or
waxed boxes. Remove all excess tape.
- Cut or flatten completely into pieces no larger than 3 ft. x 3 ft. Stack FLATTENED cardboard
under bin or in cart. Stacks must not be higher than 3 ft.

Gable Top Containers and Aseptic Boxes
- Milk, juice, and detergent cartons; milk and juice drink boxes.
- Milk or juice drink sacks such as Capri Sun are not accepted.
- Rinse out all containers, remove and discard straws and lids, and flatten before placing in
bin.

Aluminum, Tin & Steel Cans
- Any aluminum, steel, or tin food and beverage containers.
- Aluminum foil and pie plates.
- Metal oil cans or metal containers for non-food products are not accepted.
- Empty and rinse all cans.

Glass
- All glass food and beverage containers, any color.
- This does not include plate glass, ceramic materials, or any glass that is not a food
or beverage container.
- Remove metal tops and rinse all containers. Paper labels do not need to be removed.

Plastic Beverage Rings
- Soft rings only, not the rigid type.

Newspaper, Magazines, Catalogs, and White Paper
- Newspapers and all the inserts, magazines, catalogs, and white paper (office) including
junk mail.
- Books and phone books are not accepted.
- Place the newspapers on the top of the cans and glass in the recycling container.

If you have the 18 gallon bin, please cover with plastic if raining and secure papers
with cords on sides of bin.
