WELCOME!

parkThe Town of Apex Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department offers a variety of passive and active leisure opportunities to Apex Citizens and residents of Southwestern Wake County. Since passage of a $13,000,000 park bond referendum in 2004, the Town has completed the following projects: Phases IA, IB, and IC of the Beaver Creek Greenway, the Expansion of the Apex Community Center, the Beckett Crossing Greenway, Phase I of the Haddon Hall Greenway, and the restoration and renovation of our 1912 Town Hall into the Halle Cultural Arts Center of Apex. Due to current economic conditions, we now plan to begin construction on the 160 acre Environmental Education and Nature Park located on Apex Barbecue Road and Phase II of the Beaver Creek Greenway in 2011.

We are proud to offer this variety of leisure opportunities for Youth, Adults, and Sr. Citizens. As you browse through our website, we hope you will find something that interests you. If not, let us know. We welcome suggestions and involvement from our citizens and participants.
