Apex's Sesquicentennial Celebration

Apex 150 Website

February 28, 2023, marks the 150th anniversary of the Town of Apex's incorporation. Staff and community members have been working behind the scenes for nearly 18 months to make the sesquicentennial year one to remember! Our hope is that the 150th celebration year is one of unification, common understanding, and one that challenges community members to go "all in" with Apex!

Here's what the celebration year includes:

  • A year-long sesquicentennial celebration from February 28, 2023, through February 2024.
  • 150+ “Ways to Celebrate” the anniversary including annual events, community tours, exhibits on our history, ways to give back to our community, and ways to be a good neighbor.
  • A “Passport to the Peak” where community members attend or complete activities and receive passport visa stickers to earn up to 6 prize items!
  • A unique brand and website dedicated to capturing our history and the various ways to celebrate
