[ARCHIVED] Apex Under Stay-at-Home Order by Wake County

Apex joins the Wake County proclamation today that puts a stay-at-home order in effect on Friday, March 27, at 5 p.m.

View full details of the order at http://www.wakegov.com/covid19/Pages/default.aspx.

We encourage you to help us reduce the risk of exposure through the guidelines provided.

We’ll be posting signage at various parks amenities, including athletics fields and courts, the skate plaza, and playgrounds, making visitors aware that these are closed for use until further notice. Greenways and other trails will remain open. However, please observe social distancing of at least 6 feet between yourself and others using these amenities.

As government services are considered essential, we will be continuing the work that we have been doing the past two weeks. We’re using teleworking to the greatest extent, working in shifts when possible, and employing many new technologies to create social distancing.

Specific questions related to your health and COVID-19 can be directed to Wake County at (919) 856-7044 or email covid19.questions@wakegov.com.
