Performing Arts Classes

  1. Creative Drama

    Students will develop their creativity through movement, sound, improvisation and pantomime.

  2. Group Voice Lessons

    Designed for the beginner, this class will introduce your child to all aspects of singing, including warm ups, breathing exercises, beginning music theory, and song study.

  3. Play On

    Free your imagination and discover yourself on stage! This class teaches students the basic of acting with others on stage.

  4. Act N' Sing

    Do you like to act? Do you love to sing? Then this class is for you! Students will learn the techniques needed to bring holiday songs to life in the musical revue entitled-”A Song of Santa.” They will also acquire the skills it takes to perform scripted material on stage. Classes will focus on projection, working in an ensemble and character study. No experience necessary.

  5. Apex Players

    This performance class is for the serious actor who is willing to work on character development, relationships on stage and memorization. Students will learn bold choice-making and teamwork as they are cast in a bare-bones production that includes princesses, royal guards, soldiers, a queen and her ladies-in-waiting. See what happens when all these personalities fill the stage at the same time! No experience necessary.

  6. Creative Players Camp

    Ages 6-8. Let’s put on a play! Using scripted material based on the fun story of Stone Soup, young actors will learn the skills needed to bring a story to life on stage. Please bring a healthy snack and a water bottle. There will be an Open Classroom for family and friends on Friday at 11:45am. No previous experience necessary. Raleigh Little Theatre instructs. Limited to 12 participants.

  7. From The Page To The Stage Camp

    Ages 10-14. Students will free their imaginations as they explore a variety of ways to bring the “page” to the “stage.” Improvisation and theatre games will be used to help students construct several unique scripts focusing on Chris Van Allsburg’s captivating picture books. Please bring a healthy snack and a water bottle. There will be an Open Classroom for family and friends on Friday at 11:30am. No previous experience necessary. Raleigh Little Theatre instructs. Limited to 14 participants.

  8. Multi-Arts Camp

    Ages 8-12. Act out a story, sing a song and create a masterpiece all in one week! Students will be placed into small groups according to age and attend daily workshops in acting, singing and art. Please bring a snack and a water bottle. There will be an Open Classroom for family and friends on Friday at 11:45am. No previous experience necessary. Claudia Finelle, Annette Stowe and Raleigh Little Theatre instruct. Limited to 30 participants.

  9. Sing It Out Camp

    Ages 9-13. “Singing and Acting and Dancing, oh my!” Students will learn the skills needed to bring the mini-musical - School Daze - to life on the stage. Please bring lunch and a water bottle. There will be an Open Classroom for family and friends on Friday at 12:45pm. No previous experience necessary. Annette Stowe and Raleigh Little Theatre instruct. Limited to 12 participants.

  10. Stories Alive!

    Ages 5-11. This is a nurturing class for young people with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
