2016 Early Voting

The Apex Community Center will serve as an early voting site for the 2016 General Election. Here are the details:
  • Early Voting runs from 10/20 - 11/5
  • Check the Wake County Board of Elections site for open times and dates, and to see other early voting locations
  • Follow the signs to enter the Community Center through the back door to avoid disruption to our regular recreation programming

2016 Wake County Transit Plan Referendum

In the 2016 General Election, voters will see a referendum on their ballot for a one-half percent (1/2%) local sales tax increase to partially fund public transportation systems. Read more about the Wake County Transit Plan before you cast your ballot.

Town Council Election
The Apex Town Council consists of the Mayor and 5 Councilmembers. Each Councilmember is elected to a 4-year term by the citizens of Apex. Elections are held in odd years. You must be a registered voter in Apex to be eligible to vote for the Town Council.

General Election Information
General elections of the town's elected officials are nonpartisan and conducted on odd years. In Apex, elections for municipal, state, and national elected leaders are conducted by the Wake County Board of Elections. The next general election for the Apex Town Council is on November 3, 2015.
