Apex scarecrow row Apex Scarecrow Row & Haunted Trail

We are excited to hold our first Scarecrow Row right here in Apex at Apex Community Park (2200 Laura Duncan Rd)!

Friday, Oct 22 - Sunday, Oct 31: Several families who signed up for our scarecrow decorating event got together on Thursday, October 21 to make the scarecrows for the Haunted Trail! The homemade scarecrows have been placed along a "haunted" nature trail, which will be open to everyone to take a spooky walk the week before Halloween. This event is free, open to anyone and no registration is required. You can find this trail directly across from the large shelter, just before entering the path around the lake from the parking lot. Come by anytime the park is open (6:30am-10pm).

*Note: This trail was advertised to start Oct 25 but opened early on Oct 22!

Vote for your favorite scarecrow and look for spooky things in our Haunted Trail scavenger hunt here!
